Department of Accounting

The Department of Accounting offers the major in Accounting and directs the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) program.

The primary objective of the Department of Accouting is to prepare students for careers in professional accountancy.

Accountancy lasw in most states have been changed to require that candidates for the Uniform CPA Examination earn at least 150 semester hours of college credits to be eligible to sit for the exam.  Students can meet this requirement by taking additional undergraduate electives, or by pursuing one of our graduate programs.
