Management and Marketing consulting has become one of the fastest growing fields in this decade. As organizations continue to restructure, there will be increased demand for talented and creative problem solvers who can deliver expert knowledge to all types of industries. The goal of marketing is to satisfy an organizations significant stakeholders, including employees and customers, by providing quality goods and services at fair prices. The Management and Marketing Department offers courses that reflect a changing business world and a need for consulting skills, both externally and internally. The marketing courses provide hands on understanding of implementing the marketing aspects of business strategy. Therefore, the mission of the Department of Management and Marketing is to continue its commitment of graduating students who are prepared to enter the global marketplace. Preparing students to become entrepreneurs is a continuous thrust coupled with preparing students to enter graduate schools. The department is committed to providing broad access to the management and marketing programs and services without sacrificing the access of historically disadvantaged populations. The primary goals of the Department are to develop the student's understanding of the basic structure and process of the management and marketing disciplines; to develop the ability to analyze and deal with management and marketing problems; and opportunities and to prepare students for entrepreneurship and or to be employed in professional positions in the areas.
